19 ноября в рамках фестиваля NET прошел спектакль «Тибетская книга мертвых» режиссера (выпускника мастерской Крымова-Каменьковича, актера и хип-хоп исполнителя) Василия Березина и Театр.doc. В заброшенном депо Курского вокзала, которому ровно век.
«Мне хочется объяснять эту книгу свиньям, потому что они умрут на скотобойне. Я кожей чувствую, что нужно. А потом думаю, зачем свиньям, надо же людям сначала объяснить. Это такой материал, который будет говорить с каждым человеком, потому что все умрут», — говорит Василий Березин в интервью для oppeople.ru.
Депо заброшено во всех смыслах: мусор, стекло, фанера; разбитые окна завалены наполовину снегом, как и вход – прямо в заледеневшем сугробе проделаны ступеньки, по которым зрителям нужно попасть внутрь депо. Вместо стульев — отломанные части театральных кресел, положенные на какие-то камни или бетонные куски. Те, кто не сел, стоит по бокам стен, кутаясь в плед. На полу несколько свечей, на стене висят лампочки, отопления естественно нет, ветер задувает через решетчатые окна и приносит специфичные для этого места запахи. Депо стоит рядом с ж/д путями, так что за окнами с грохотом проезжают поезда.
«Мне интересны не здания новые с новыми креслами, а новые структурные формы — театр, который только сейчас может существовать. Вдумайся в название: «Театр, который закрывается». В одном этом уже — театр. Сам процесс попадания в него: найти вход, поставить лестницу — из ничего театр начинается», — Василий Березин в интервью для oppeople.ru.
С самого начала зрителям объявляется, что это комедия. Шесть актеров забираются на выступ в стене, плотно изрисованной граффити, пестрые цвета которых ассоциируются с тибетскими мандалам. Актеры долго сидят молча, зрители с любопытством выжидательно смотрят на них. И вот наконец один актер начинает произносить строки из «Тибетской книги мертвых» — «наставления, читаемые при появлении первых признаков смерти». Зрителям нужно представить, что они мертвы, и в фразе «представь, что ты мертв» уже прячется легкая ирония. «О высокородный Иван!…» — обращаются к нам, «уже умершим», актеры и зачитывают с разными интонациями и иногда жестикуляциями (приседаниями, отряхиваниями одежды) из «Бардо Тхедол» все, что мы увидим на первый, второй (и т.д). дни смерти. И погружаясь все глубже в Бардо (состояния разума после смерти), ты все хуже можешь расслышать текст наставлений – из-за грохота поездов или когда в конце актеры бьют камнями по железным балкам. На постлайфхак «Как стать Буддой» зрители реагировали по-разному: кто-то вставал и уходил, кто-то долго аплодировал и потом обсуждал там же с друзьями увиденное, а точнее пережитое. Поскольку пространство депо, шумы, текст, запах и холод – все это влияло на восприятие, зритель становился непосредственным участником, и возможно, главное действие происходило у него внутри. Но посыл ясен – даже после (/во время) смерти нельзя терять чувство юмора.
После спектакля в наступившей тишине один зритель начал кричать: «Эксплуатация религиозной литературы! Мы платили за спектакль!» Сначала даже показалось, что это часть спектакля, но кричал он слишком отчаянно. Остается надеяться, что чувства буддистов не были оскорблены. На выходе подошла женщина, работавшая в соседнем с депо здании с вопросом «А что у вас там за собрание? Так интересно! А то мы уже милицию хотели вызвать».
«Важным аспектом было привлечь разного зрителя – охранников, рабочих, бомжей, хипстеров, взрослых людей. То есть тех, кто понимает, что они умрут. Это интернациональный спектакль, абсолютно для всех«, — говорит режиссер в интервью для m24.ru.
Бомжи сыграли важную часть в создании спектакля, ведь для них в первую очередь хотел зачитать «Книгу мертвых» Василий Березин, поскольку они постоянно находятся на грани жизни и смерти. Режиссер сам какое-то время специально жил на улицы, среди бездомных. Во время репетиций бомжи приходили посмотреть и комментировали работу актеров, на премьеру в августе пришли в белых рубашках.

Мне не понравилось. Я шла без каких-то ожиданий, но то, что здесь происходило, было похоже на китч, чем на произведение искусства. И просто зачитывать куски из книги…это был китч, включая это помещение, атмосферу. Я не думаю, что это произведение искусства. И мне не понравилось. Но это мои личные вкусовые предпочтения.
Молодой человек Кирилл:
Мне показалось, что это очень атмосферная вещь. Я, правда, ничего не слышал, замерз. Какой-то ритм был, классный такой, не знаю. Поезда проезжали. Хорошо, в общем, мне понравилось. На чем-то похожем еще не был ни разу. Я думаю, здесь практически весь спектакль организует пространство и звук, они больше чем сам текст, и какие-то случайности – проходящие поезда, парни, кричавшие что-то с улицы.

Мне очень понравился спектакль, точнее это представление, потому что здесь не были важны слова, а скорее развитие. И все эти звуки — это не какофония, это музыка того состояния, когда ты уходишь в своего рода медитацию, и главное не потеряться и не улететь совсем, не начать кайфовать просто от звука, а удерживать внимание на смысле. Это другой подход, это то, к чему не привыкли. На спектаклях обычно важен смысл, а как мне показалось, здесь это было не столько важно.

Мне очень понравилось, во-первых, я читал «Книгу мертвых», и мне понравилось, как она была представлена. Ритмическая структура спектакля – это то, что меня больше всего зацепило, этот ритм – он многогранный, он разный, и я почувствовал его буквально телом. Я когда иду на спектакль – никогда ничего не ожидаю, и поэтому он меня так удивил приятно. Место конечно просто потрясное. И то , что поезда ходят.. На спектаклях вне театрального пространства еще не был, но в нашей Школе документального кино есть предмет вербатим, и мы наши записи показывали вне театрального пространства.

Когда-то в книжке я писала про «переживание пространства», что есть спектакли, где в этом — главное действие и событие для зрителя. «Тибетская книга мертвых» на НЕТе, которую играли сегодня в заброшенном депо Курского вокзала — как раз такой случай. Огромное пространство с горами мусора, граффити, выбитыми стёклами и входом — с вырубленными в ледяном снегу ступенями. Свечи на земле, идущие мимо с грохотом поезда, ряды красных бархатных кресел, принесённых откуда-то, пар изо рта и дым сигарет в лучах света. В общем, настоящее пространственное приключение. Ну и звуковое тоже.
