С 4 по 6 ноября 2016 года в Москве, во Дворце культуры МИИТа, состоялся II Международный Грантовый конкурс эстрадного танца и танцевальных шоу. Конкурс проходил при поддержке портала о танцах DOZADO, где Мария Асестрова (основатель DOZADO.RU) была в жюри. Лауреатами первой степени стали ребята из образцового ансамбля эстрадного танца «Арлекино» (ДиКЦ «Костино», г. Королёв), которых отметила Мария.
Мария Асестрова: Такой фестивальный формат давно уже стал классикой жанра — без зрителей, только участники, которые знакомятся со сценой, с профессией танцовщика и хореографа. Это здоровая атмосфера соревнования. Котелок, в котором дети «варятся» за сценой, изучая друг друга, привыкая к конкуренции, перенимая идеи, движения, задает ориентиры, к которым они будут стремиться. Таким явным ориентиром, лучшим коллективом, на который стоит равняться, стал ансамбль «Арлекино» с финским танцем «Калевала». Нестандартная интерпретация карело-финского эпоса, характерные танцевальные формы, стильно подобранные костюмы (без лишнего гламура), а юные танцовщицы показали отличную подготовку. Итог — постановка сильно выделялась среди остальных. Это я называю ориентиром.
История ансамбля:
В 1996 году в ДК «Костино» в Королеве был образован танцевальный коллектив «Арлекино» под руководством Нины Александровны Степановой. С самого начала ансамбль определил свое основное направление – эстрадный танец. И на протяжении 19 лет придерживается этого направления.
Благодаря танцу «Стремление», который исполнялся на горных лыжах, коллектив стал популярным. С этим номером его приглашали на телевидение в программу «Большая стирка», «Шире круг», «Утренняя звезда» и на «Рождественские встречи» в храме Христа Спасителя.
В 2006 году коллектив получил высокое звание «Образцового». А в 2009 и 2012 году подтверждил его.
Ансамбль всегда принимает участие в городских мероприятиях, проводит благотворительные концерты, несколько раз в год участвует в общероссийских и Международных конкурсах. «Арлекино» награждался самыми высокими наградами в таких странах как Венгрия, Болгария, Чехия, Финляндия, Италия, Греция, Украина, Беларусь.
В июне 2014 года в Казани, на Международном конкурсе «Слияние культур», образцовому ансамблю эстрадного танца «Арлекино» присвоели наивысшую награду – Гран-при.
В ноябре 2016 года коллектив подтвердил эту высокую награду и завоевал Гран-при на VI Общероссийском конкурсе «Шаг вперед».
