В рамках Года Греции в России Академия культурных и образовательных инноваций учредила Международный фестиваль искусств «Сокровища Эллады», который состоялся в период осенних каникул с 25 октября по 1 ноября 2016 года на солнечном острове Родос. Департамент культуры и Мэрия города Родос активно поддержали идею проведения фестиваля, а информационным партнером международного проекта выступил портал о танцах DOZADO.ru
Выступая на гала-концерте фестиваля, руководитель Департамента культуры Родоса Терис Чатзияну отметил, что фестиваль уже стал крупным и значимым событием в культурной жизни города. Фестиваль является мощным стимулом в развитии творческих идей, взаимовлияния культур и укрепления дружбы России и Греции. «Сокровища Эллады» — это символ единства, гармонии и вдохновения.
Для участия в фестивале на Родос приехали коллективы и солисты из Москвы, Московской области, Санкт-Петербурга, Калуги и Воронежа:
- Народный самодеятельный коллектив – ансамбль танца «Образ», Калуга;
- Образцовый хореографический ансамбль «Островок», Санкт-Петербург;
- Детский образцовый хореографический коллектив «Парадокс», Воронеж;
- Солисты Юлия Вакула, Лада Шорник, Евдокия Онучина (Москва), Светлана и Валерия Вахрушевы (Кашира).
В жюри фестиваля вошли:
- Зои Коккала (Zoe Kokkala), Родос, Греция. Сопрано, профессор классическому вокалу, учитель современного вокала. Имеет диплом с отличием Афинской консерватории по оперному вокалу и преподаванию. Участник множества концертов по всей Греции.
- Вики Фердекли (Vicky Ferdekli), имеет диплом Высшей профессиональной школы танцев Despina Grigoriadou. Окончила Academy of Pantso Vladigerof. Член .I.S.CH.E (Association Owners Dance Schools Greece). Создатель и преподаватель собственной школы танцев Vicky Ferdekli Dance School.

Также концерт участников фестиваля «Сокровища Эллады» состоялся на площадках Mitsis Grand Hotel Rhodes 5*. Для российских участников были организованы познавательные мастер-классы артистов греческой филармонии по вокалу, традиционной греческой музыке и танцам. Провели собственные мастер-класс и члены жюри: Zoe Kokkala и Vicky Ferdekli.
В рамках развлекательной программы для участников фестиваля «Сокровища Эллады» состоялись захватывающие экскурсии в Старый Город и город Линдос.
Проживание и питание участников фестиваля было организовано в лучшем отеле Родоса – Mitsis Grand Hotel Rhodes 5*, который являлся партнером в организации международного арт-проекта. Расположение отеля уникально: на стыке двух морей – Эгейского и Средиземного, что имеет едва ли не исторической значение. Здесь останавливались Маргарет Тэтчер, Хельмут Коль, Антони Кyин.
В дни фестиваля легенды и реальность, история и современность тесно переплелись на Родосе. Здесь находилось одно из семи чудес света — знаменитый Колосс Родосский, отлитая в бронзе статуя бога солнца. Богатая история острова Родос создала его уникальный архитектурный облик и вписала в него черты разных эпох. Даже великий Зевс оценил Родос, создав здесь дворец Олимпийских Богов.
