Премьера состоялась!!!
Пишу этот пост сидя за столом номера в отделе Хилтон города-героя Спокана (штат Вашингтон). Именно здесь 12 января мы официально открылись c полным аншлагом в огромном театре – 2700 зрителей! Однако между этим днем и началом технических репетиций с нами случилась.. Якима, о которой я упоминала в прошлый раз
Якима оказалась милым, провинциальным и уютным городком с шикарнейшим театром, который стал нашим домом (в отеле мы только спали). Отметив Новый год в единственном открытом после полуночи баре в городе и отдохнув 1 января, мы ставили шоу с 11 до 23 каждый день без выходных. Учитывая тот факт, что грузовик с нашим сетом (всеми декорациями и реквизитом) перевернулся где-то на середине пути из Ланкастера в Якиму и опоздал на неделю, репетиции на сцене проходили в весьма напряженном и ускоренном ритме. Мы клеили бесконечные марки на сценическое покрытие (ориентиры для всех перемещений, как артистов, так и реквизита), тестировали звук и выставляли свет, циркачи наконец-то начали работать на той высоте и с тем размахом, что нужно, а также привыкали к костюмам, множественным быстрым сменам костюмов и, внимание, к парикам и макияжу.
Уже со второго дня прогонов на сцене все были обязаны репетировать в состоянии полной готовности. После каждого прогона всем, в том числе и костюмерно-париковому цеху выдавался список замечаний, и изо дня в день каждый компонент шоу совершенствовался. Мы бесконечно «чистили» хореографию, режиссер меняла интонации реплик, а париковых дел мастер вплетал разноцветные ленты в париковые косы. 
Макияж и парики в Пиппине – это отдельная тема. Пока весь процесс у меня занимает 2,5 часа – может, скоро набью руку, и выиграю каких-нибудь 15 минут, но пока – это целое мероприятие. Над нашим макияжем лично работал Чет Уолкер – прямо-таки заходил каждый день в гримерки, приносил безумные накладные ресницы, брал кисточки в руки и рисовал каждой брови (на лбу). Фишка в том, что это не стандартный сценический макияж. Мы воспроизводим традицию японского театра Кабуки – концепт, утвержденный еще Бобом Фосси в первой версии Пиппина в 1972 году.
Так, мы фактически заново вырисовываем черты лица на белой маске – это также и реплика из циркового, а именно клоунского мейк-апа. Еще клеим стразы на лицо – привет, Вегас. На головах у нас, то есть под париками – коробочки микрофонов, что делает голову тяжелее раза в два. На первых репетициях я даже умудрилась вывихнуть себе что-то в шейном отделе – никогда голова еще не была такой тяжелой. Так или иначе, каждое утро всаживая штук 25 шпилек через парик и микрофон в волосы, я постепенно привыкла к этому ощущению и теперь существую в полной гармонии со своими сценическим имиджем – у каждого он в этом шоу индивидуальный.
9 и 10 января у нас состоялись превью – то есть первые выступления с живой аудиторией (1500 мест, полный аншлаг), которые для меня лично и стали премьерой. Американская аудитория очень живая – они не стесняются в выражении эмоций, и вообще очень сопереживают и поддерживают, я в жизни не чувствовали такой отдачи от зала.. К тому же софиты не светили в лицо, можно было видеть лица людей, по крайней мере в нескольких первых рядах.. На поклонах нашего первого превью меня прорвало – такая смесь гордости за проделанную работу, за себя и людей, стоящих рядом, за весь процесс, материал, и драйв от поддержки зала, аплодировавшего стоя.. Это было очень красиво и трогательно. Я еще не писала о том, что этот мюзикл — бомба?..
Якима заняла прочное место в моем сердце, и пора двигаться дальше. Спокан оказался весьма себе продвинутым городом, с торговыми центрами, сетевыми магазинами и ресторанами, замечательным отелем и грандиозным театром. После официальной премьеры (по сути, это был первый раз, когда нам пришлось перестраиваться под новое пространство, новые гримерки, местных костюмеров и работников сцены – совсем скоро, когда мы начнем ездить по городам чуть ли не каждый день, процесс адаптации станет более быстрым и гладким) состоялась традиционная для премьер вечеринка, прямо в театре.
Сразу после шоу мне стало любопытно, есть ли какие-нибудь обновления в инстаграме от зрителей – первая фотография, на которую я наткнулась, была подписана «So happy to see her first broadway show!» — на фото две девушки стояли с программками в фойе театра. Вот это ответственность – задавать стандарты качества бродвейского мюзикла..
В Спокане нам предстоит отыграть еще 5 шоу, (в выходные – по два шоу в день), провести так называемый golden day (день, когда нет ни переезда, ни шоу, то есть полноценный выходной), а далее – вылететь в Чикаго. Уже утро субботы – и я в театр, разогреваться и рисовать себе лицо! Всем джазззз!!
